•Performs sales activities to generate new business for an assigned geographic area
•Contact and visit prospective customers to determine needs
•Create and perform sales presentations to match company's products/services with identified needs
•Sell products/services through face-to-face contact
•Continuing education of company's products and services to facilitate sales efforts
•Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure satisfaction, phone and on-site visits
•Educate clients to new or improved products and services
•Develop relationships with clients
Minimum Requirements:
•3+ years sales experience in selling software, preference for selling engineering solutions such as CAD,CAE,CAM,CAD,FEA,PLM, or CFD
•B.S.Degree Preferred. Strong understanding of mechanical design concepts.
•Must have a proven track record of direct sales experience combined with hunting/prospecting skills. Ability to travel daily in the assigned territory as well as some light overnight travel.
