Description:

Performs sales activities to generate new business for an assigned geographic area

Contact and visit prospective customers to determine needs

Create and perform sales presentations to match company's products/services with identified needs

Sell products/services through face-to-face contact

Continuing education of company's products and services to facilitate sales efforts

Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure satisfaction, phone and on-site visits

Educate clients to new or improved products and services

Develop relationships with clients


Required Skills:

Minimum Requirements:

 3+ years sales experience in selling software, preference for selling engineering solutions such as CAD,CAE,CAM,CAD,FEA,PLM, or CFD

B.S.Degree Preferred.  Strong understanding of mechanical design concepts

Must have a proven track record of direct sales experience combined with hunting/prospecting skills.  Ability to travel daily in the assigned territory as well as some light overnight travel.
